Homegrown Eclectic Brand Growth March-April 2025

I decided to start an art-based content brand to learn new career skills, demonstrate my ability to plan and execute social media strategy, and enjoy one of my favorite hobbies: creating art.

I started recording my artistic work and launched my social media brand in February of 2025 with my YouTube channel (which I've never directly posted on and had 0 followers), my personal TikTok account (which I occasionally posted on and had 56 followers), and with a newly-created Instagram account.

In the first month (March), I grew my YouTube channel to 12 subscribers. I earned 183 likes and 29.5% of viewers stayed to watch. In April, my YouTube channel grew by 35 subscribers to 47 total. I earned 350 likes and 33.7% of viewers stayed to watch.

In March, I grew my TikTok channel by 18 subscribers to a total of 82. I earned 237 likes, 13 comments, and 34 profile visits. In April, my TikTok channel grew by 25 subscribers to 107. I earned 274 likes, 34 comments, and 72 profile views.
