February Desk Reset: 5 Things I'm Trying This Month

New month, new energy. If January was about survival and setting intentions, February is about the flow. I’m a firm believer that your environment dictates your output. If your desk feels stagnant, your work probably does too. This month, I’m shaking things up with a mix of high-function tools and "dark academia" aesthetics.
Here are the 5 things I’m adding to my desk reset this February.

1. Zipnotes: The "Custom Length" Sticky Note
We’ve all been there: you have a tiny thought but waste a giant 3x3 sticky note, or you have a long list and end up chaining three notes together.
Zipnotes are essentially a roll of adhesive paper in a dispenser. You pull out exactly what you need and tear it off. It’s oddly satisfying and saves so much paper. It’s perfect for those "don't forget to buy milk" moments or long-form brainstorming.
2. Planner Stencils: DIY Organization
I love the idea of a bullet journal, but I don't always have the artistic patience to draw perfect grids. These planner stencils are a game changer.
Reusable: Made of thin plastic that wipes clean.
Versatile: They turn any cheap grid or lined notebook into a professional-looking layout.
Efficient: I can "draw" an entire monthly habit tracker in about 30 seconds.
3. The Anatomical Heart Pen Cup
Let’s talk vibes. Every desk needs a "statement piece" that sparks conversation (even if you’re the only one in the room). This anatomical heart pen cup is beautifully macabre and surprisingly functional. It’s heavy enough not to tip over, and sticking your pens into the "veins" and "arteries" is a quirky way to keep your most-used tools upright.
4. Quill Dip Pen Set
Sometimes, digital life feels too fast. To slow down, I’m incorporating a quill dip pen set into my evening journaling. There is something deeply grounding about the ritual of dipping a nib into an inkwell. Plus, it makes writing a simple thank-you note feel like a royal decree.
5. Writech Space-Themed Liquid Ink Pens
For my daily heavy lifting, I’ve switched to the Writech Liquid Ink Rollerballs. These aren't your average office supply store pens.
The Aesthetic: The "Galaxy" or space-themed barrels are stunning.
The Performance: They use a liquid ink system that flows incredibly smoothly without skipping.
The Colors: A sophisticated selection of colors in a complimentary range of galaxy inspired hues.
Which one is your favorite?
Whether you're looking for better organization with the stencils or just want to feel like a 19th-century poet with the quill, a desk reset is the best way to kick off the new month.
